Support a (not) so local band;

"Set Sail started with a classical violinist and a California hippie busking on the street. This unlikely combination of a Matt Costa influenced skater kid with a melodramatic, Arcade Fire-esque violinist created a fresh, organic sound; completed when Josh May's jazz precision and danceable groove was thrown into the mix.
The ever-fickle nature of the street forced them to find what made Sydney want to stop and listen, and by the spring of 2010 their electric live show and irresistible indie-pop hooks were packing out corners around Sydney. Now Set Sail is taking their vibrant sound from the streets into the Australian music scene as they tour the eastern coast in support of their debut EP"
from some website found on google.com

So, last saturday we had the honour to experience a live street show from the band- Set Sail . What really intrigued us about the band was the ways the band utilized their individual talents to bring together an excellent and enjoyable mini-gig. I can't help but comment on how great they were when they played a track from mumford & the sons. We both bought their EP for $10, and my favourite track is Boat Song. I've being playing it non-stop ever since ive heard of it! So...if you guys have the time and don't mind having an extra "Like" on facebook, then faster, get yourself "moving" to their facebook's page and be their fan, NOW!

*Ps: Also, they will be touring around the world soon.. so maybe you might get to meet them one day on the street. who knows?
