An Introduction.

G'day all!

Here's a thing or two of Melanie & Melissa-sa-sa-sa before we get started on the rest of the posts.
We're both Singaporeans who did not fit into the Singapore's education system, or rather Singapore's education system did not sit well with us, and so we ended up in f-f-f-freezing (for now) Melbourne. I am in RMIT University doing a degree in Professional Communications, while Melissa is in University of Melbourne doing a degree in Urban Design & Planning/Architecture. Both of us are currently in the first semester of our Second year!

This blog was started mostly because we want to jot down our overseas experience in Melbourne as two friends and the things that goes on during our time here. We want to be able to look back when we graduate in 2012 through this blog to remind us of the good & bad. We'll be posting anything from fashion/food/school/friends or anything that inspires us.

Due to the fact that both of us have very similar sirnames -Melanie Tang & Melissa Tsang- Melissa will be addressed as Mel K (Melissa Kayden) and Melanie will be addressed as Mel T.

Our 1year Anniversary Blog post!

Time passes so rapidly, that it has already been 1 year since we started blogging here. So much had changed, from us being a-street-away neighbours to being real roommates, from us having long hair to us snapping our hair off to mid-length, and us doing impromptu bleaching adventures! 

In this 1 year, we have grew to be someone different ( even without ourselves realizing it), someone better, someone that is ready to face the world -our future. Though there are still times when we still act more childish than our age, but deep down our heart, we are no longer the Mels you know and reckon to be. 

Cheers to our remaining 1 year in Aussie,Cheers to the bright future ahead of us & last but not least, Cheers to us!

HALLOWEEN '11

It had been ages since we last updated this space. For the past few months, we had been flooded with assignments after assignments. Oh life of a 2nd year university students...! 

Last week, Mel Tang's good friend, Cherie pay us a visit, from Singapore, celebrating Halloween with us! Unlike the previous year, we attended a local Halloween party, which we met a look of really creative individuals that dressed up really similar to their characters ( refer to the Ovenbreak outfit, and Johnny Depp Wannabe) ! Nonetheless, we had a great time, busy snapping pictures etc. Mel Tang is back in Sunny Singapore, and im still stuck here cause of my examinations! :( However, fret not, more updates will be coming, once my examinations are over! ;)
